First tutorials delivered |

ONTORULE has recently organized two tutorials co-located with scientific conferences. The tutorial title was "Integrating ontologies and rules in a semantic business: from policies to operation". The presenters were Thomas Eiter, Stijn Heymans, Luis Polo, and Adeline Nazarenko.
The first tutorial took place on May 30 at ESWC2010, in Heraklion (Greece), and the second one was held on July 12 at AAAI2010, in Atlanta (USA). The events were a success, with an attendance of approximately 10-15 people in each edition. At both sides of the Atlantic ocean, the participants engaged with the speakers in a very participative atmosphere.

In June 2010, the project has reached its mid-term milestone, M18. We have completed a number of new deliverables which will soon be available for download in the webpage. Please stay tuned for the updates. The next milestone will be M24 at the end of December 2010. |

The 1st International Workshop on Business Models, Business Rules and Ontologies (BuRO 2010), co-located with the 4th International Conference on Web Reasoning and Rule Systems (RR2010), has just published the call for papers. This workshop is supported by the ONTORULE project. Submissions are welcomed until August 6th. |

ONTORULE tutorial at ESWC2010: Call for Participation |

The 7th Extended Semantic Web Conference (ESWC 2010) will be held from May 30th to June 3rd, in Heraklion (Greece). ESWC2010 aims to bring together researchers and practioners dealing with different aspects of semantics on the Web.
The tutorial track will take place during the first day of the conference, next Sunday, May 30th, 2010. Some members of the ONTORULE Project (Thomas Eiter, Stijn Heymans, Luis Polo, and Adeline Nazarenko) give a tutorial entitled Integrating Ontologies and Rules in a Semantic Business: From Policies to Operation from 14:30 to 18:00 in the Melpo room. Futher information can be found in this handout.
