D2.6 Consistency Maintenance. Final Report Download

Description:

One goal in WP2 is to investigate and develop techniques for detecting when the creation or modification of rules and/or the ontology affects the overall consistency. Moreover, techniques to help the business user or the rule/ontology manager to cope with detected inconsistencies, e.g., by repair actions but also including new capabilities such as testing and debugging across the rule/ontology boundary, should be investigated and developed. This is the final report on consistency maintenance containing results on handling consistency related problems with respect to text, production rules, logical rules, and combinations of rules and ontologies. They complement methods, techniques, and intermediate results presented in Deliverable 2.3 pertaining to the general consistency framework developed therein.
