RDF Schema is a vocabulary description language developed by the W3C for the Resource Description Format (RDF). It defines a vocabulary for modeling classes and properties (i.e., a lightweight ontology) in RDF. In particular it offers the following modeling features:

  1. Classes and class hierarchies
  2. Properties and property hierarchies
  3. Property domain and range restrictions
